Did something go wrong in the trails? Tell us everything!

3 minutos de leitura

Share with us the problem you encountered on the Rota Vicentina trails.

Since we started this Walking Trails adventure, we knew that our great allies to keep this network of trails – walking and cycling – in tip-top shape would be those who enjoy them, that is, walkers and cyclists – visitors or residents! Rota Vicentina’s small team is unable to be present on each route on a daily basis, but it is important for us to be informed to solve the identified problem as quickly as possible.

E-mail was our main means of communication, but to be even faster and more efficient, we created a form to report incidents. This instrument has the primary aim of guaranteeing the quality and sustainability of access to the trails. It will also be a reporting and liaison tool with the actors linked to the trails (users, owners, local entities).

Each hiker, an active player who contributes to the quality of the trails

Each trail user, walker or cyclist, frequent or not, resident or visitor, may have relevant information to share with Associação Rota Vicentina. Therefore, that person becomes an active player in the trail monitoring and maintenance system!

The incident report form: how does it work?

Any anomaly (scheduling, maintenance, conflict of use, damage to the environment, etc.) will be reported using this form. If it is a problem that does not fall under the responsibility of Rota Vicentina, it will be reported to the authority that will monitor and resolve the anomaly.

Example of occurrence report: tree fallen in the middle of the trail

It couldn’t be easier! Accessing the form through the button at the bottom of Rota Vicentina website, just follow and answer the questions. It’s simple and intuitive! You can fill in the form while you are there or when you return home. Our tip is to save this link in the shortcuts on your phone / computer.

For a quick and effective intervention, it is crucial to have as much information as possible: location, reference to the trail, precise location of the anomaly (ideally with a GPS point), nature of the problem. Contact details may also be relevant in case we need more details and/or give you feedback. The involvement of each one in the communication of field anomalies is an essential factor to guarantee the maximum quality Rota Vicentina trails. Each report is fundamental for us. We appreciate all the collaboration!
