A New Volunteering Calendar for the 2025!

3 reading time

Get your hiking boots ready for the new year because the volunteer dates for the first quarter have been announced

Fresh out of the oven! The volunteering activity calendar for the first quarter of 2025 has arrived!

With a tried-and-true formula, we’re sticking to the majority of hikes happening on Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays. Occasionally, we’ll have a few dates on Fridays.

What’s new in this calendar? The return of nature conservation activities! For those who are unfamiliar, these take place in our pilot areas and focus on controlling invasive species in priority habitats for conservation.

Additionally, some of the dates are not only consecutive but also include sequential stages. Here’s a suggestion: why not plan a weekend to explore the region, hike with us, and lend a hand in maintaining these wonderful trails in the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast region?

If you’d like to explore accommodation, dining, or transport options in the area, feel free to check out our network of Associates!

As usual, although participation is free, registration will be necessary, and we will limit the maximum number of participants. Registration is done through our online form.

A very important note: If you sign up but later realize you cannot attend, please let us know in advance so we can make your spot available to others who are interested.

We kindly ask for your commitment when registering. Mark the dates in your calendar and invite your friends to join as well! If you have any questions, feel free to contact us using the phone number or email provided on the poster.

Not available on any of the scheduled dates but still want to support our work? You can make a donation! Find out how here.

See you soon, volunteers!
